ABOUT MEChalk ArtistI am a Chicago-based chalk artist and costume designer.
During the warm-weather months I enjoy participating in chalk festivals throughout the Midwest, and I particularly gravitate toward interpreting classic paintings through the medium of soft pastel, in addition to creating original works. The most gratifying aspect of chalk festivals is the opportunity in which to interact with the public and talk about art. My educational background includes a BA in Art from Wheaton College, and an MFA in Design for Stage and Film from New York University, Tisch School of the Arts. |
